I recently built this modified " Mexican 2 loop" holster and gunbelt to do some test marketing of cowboy action shooting gunleather. Its made of vegetable tanned 10 oz leather with some tooling.
Samuel Colt also manufactured his popular pistols in England. This is the standard "London style" mahogany casing of the period.
Italian calfskin over an oak frame with brass fittings creates a unique and durable casing for this A.H.Fox double.
Deep red velvet linings in the fitted " French style" add a touch of classic elegance.
Accessories and accessory compartments complete this truly "one of a kind" guncase. There is also storage for the walnut and brass cleaning rod under the barrel.
Truly a labor of love requiring skills in many disciplines. I think I used them all to make everything you see here.
